Jairaj & Arshad steer Expat to victory
Jairaj Thakur and Arshad Ali put on a century partnership to steer
Expats C.C. to a convincing eight-wicket victory over Wellfit C.C. in the Quick
Line 30-over-a-side tournament, organised by the Dubai Cricket Council.
Jairaj hit 63 off 53 balls with four fours while Arshad chipped in with 53
off 58 balls during their 123-run opening stand as Expats, chasing 135 for
victory, achieved the target in 22.5 overs.
Earlier, Wellfit batmen struggled against the accurate Expats attack,
spearheaded by Arshad Ali and Gurjit Singh, who both took three wickets
each. Shabbir (25) and Zekwan (26) were the main scorers as Wellfit scored
134 before being all out in 29.4 overs.

Dnata Emirates wins a thriller
In an other match, Dnata Emirates defeated Lloyds Bank by two runs.
Murali Sockalingam scored 39 and took one wicket for 18 runs to play a
key role in Dnata Emirates' victory.

CSSC accounted for EBIL by 54 runs. CSSC owed their victory to Naemulllah who produced a fine
all-round performance (54 not out off 59 balls with two fours and two sixes and two for 23).
