Star C.C. score a narrow 10 run victory
over Solanki Construction
An all-round performance from Azmat A.H saw Star C.C. squeeze past Solanki Construction by
10 runs in the 30-over Quickline Cup cricket tournament being organised by the
Dubai Cricket Council.
Ali struck an unbeaten 64 as his team reached a respectable
176-6. Iqbal Hussain (41) and Shahid Butt (21) were the useful contributors.
Mohammed Azeem and Abdul Rehman scalped two each.
Solanki Construction were all out for 166 in 27.3 overs.
Abdul Rehman topscored with 42, while Mukhtar (22) and Mohammed Jehangir (19) con-
tributed in vain as Fayyaz Haider got 4-50 while Ali took 3-
29 as the man of the match.

Shaji's deadly spell wrecks DCC
Reigning champions Indian Sports Club (ISC) secured an 80-run victory over DCC Starlets.
Sudhir (54), Devendar Taneja (38) and Sujith (40 not out) helped ISC reach 221-7.
DCC reached 141-9 with Murtaza (47) tops coring and Aurangzeb chipping in with 26.
Veteran Shahtaj Shaji bagged 5-22 while Sujith took two.
