Khayyam C.C won the toss and elected to bat first. Aslam (20), Awadh (53) and Akbar (18) made useful contributions as their innings closed at 179 runs for 8 in the alotted 25 overs. Jahangir was most successful as he captured 3 wickets.

Stevedour chased the score with ease as their batsmen found run making easy against an ordinary bowling attack. The score was built around Sajid Butt (28), Taskeen (64) and Saqib remained unbeaten on 33

Taskeen of Stevedour was adjudged Man of the Match.

7th Day of tournament - 27/09/2000

Etisalat Al Ain beat ISC Green by 7 wickets.

ISC batting first after winning the toss were shot out for 158 runs with Asif Baig being the top scorer with 32 runs and Asif Paykar contributing 18 runs. Etisalat Alain's fieldng was brilliant and the keeper (Tariq) was outstanding as he stumped two batsmen, held 2 catches and was also involved in a run out . Waseem and Nafees shared 6 wickets between them while Nussurat and Imran took one scalp each.

ETISALAT Al Ain romped home in just 19 overs. Imran remained unbeaten and played a stylish innings of 80 which included 1 six and 11 fours. The other batsman, Abid was unbeaten on 43.

Imran of ETISALAT was given the Man of the Match Award.

8th Day of tournament - 28/09/2000

Abu Dhabi Gymkhana beat Abu Dhabi Duty Free Shop
by 1 wicket.

Owais and Habib claimed three wickets each and Shafqat smashed 66 as Abu Dhabi Gym got the better of Abu Dhabi Duty Free.

The two bowlers combined well to restrict ADDf for a modest 172 in the stipulated overs.Welfred and Shahid Ali were both out on an identical score of 27. Waseem came in handy and scored a quick 24.

A.D. Gym despite in early trouble, paced their innings well as Shafqat hit a blistering 66 and Mahmood Hassan provided him the support and played a patient knock of 35. Mairaj chipped in with 20.

Later on, AD Gym was declared the winners by the umpires and Owais of the victorious team was given the Man of the Match award

9th Day of tournament - 29/09/2000

ISC Blue beat ISC Green by 2 wickets.

Amanat cracked a crucial 72 to steer ISC Blue to a thrilling 2 wickets victory over ISC Green.

The talented batsman came in at a situation where his team was struggling and played an entertaining innings of 72 off just 44 balls with 4 6's. Azeem supported him with 26*. ISC Blue aided by solid knocks from their batsmen reached the target in 23.2 overs.The pick of the bowlers for ISC Green was Manaf, who took two wickets.

Man Of the Match Award was given to Amanat of ISC Blue for his allround perforamnce.

10th Day of tournament - 30/09/2000

Balouch C.C beat Pakhtoon C.C. by 4 runs.

Imran , Asif and Abdullah shine as Balouch C.C. scored a narrow 4 runs victory over Pakhtoon C.C.

Balouch C.C were off to a solid start but could not build on their start and lost their way in the middle as they only managed 174. Saeedullah played well for his 35 and Imran struck a brilliant unbeaten half century to make sure his team reaches a respectable total. Shukat and Abdullah scored 18 & 17 runs respectively. While Imran and Dawood cliamed 2 wickets each for Pakhtoon C.C

Zafar(61) and Tariq (48) led the charge for Pakhtoon C.C. but because of the professional approach of Balouch C.C., they were contained for 170 in their stipulated overs. Asif and Abdullah took 2 wickets each for Balouch C.C.

Abdullah of Balouch C.C was awarded Man Of the Match.
