ECCC U-14 proved too good for the tour Raju's C.C. Hyderabad,
as Vivek Reji Tomas (103) helped his team beat them once again by yet
another wide margin of 60 runs.
Batting first, ECCC U-14 got off to a flying start as Vivek hit a brilliant
103 off 100 balls with 6 fours. His opening partner Ramveer Rai (67 off 62
balls with 5 fours) was equally destructive as the duo gave their opponents
a run for their money. One drop Ryan Chadda (56 off 37 balls with 3 fours),
who hit a century in his last innings, carried his form. Rameez (12 n.o.
off only 7 balls) ended the innings with a flourish to help his team post a
big total of 262 for 4 in the allotted 35 overs. Ashish (2 for 45) was the
most successful bowler.
