Patni dazzles again for Zaima C.C.
Patni hammered 100 of 58 balls as Zaima C.C. dispatched Sony Gulf C.C. by 8 wickets
Patni, who was the corner stone of Al Zaima's nine-wicket win over Bombay Boys in the 25-overs
DCC League, smashed his second ton this season with a 58 ball 100 runs to steer Zaima CC
to an emphatic eight-wicket victory over Sony Gulf C.C.
Batting first, Sony Gulf C.C. put up a defending total of 222 for 9 . It was a team
effort as all their batsmen struck to their task of scoring. Opener Mohsin top scored
with 74, Hiteah (39), Raymond (35) and Sudhir (28) gave adequate support to the score.
Facing a target of 222, Zaima C.C. were off to a solid start with Amin scoring 29
and Ishaq (30). But the day belonged to Patni who went on
the rampage scoring at will to crack his century off just 58
balls. His knock included 15 powerful hits to the fence and one towering six.
Abid supported him well as he played the sheet anchor role with a patient 36.

Classic Advertisers triumph
Classic Advertisers clinched a 37-run win over Al Wahabi Budding Stars.
Their score was built around Abdul Wahab (56), Safi Ahmed (41)
and Kiran Austin who chipped in with a solid 52. Classic Advertisers knocked up
a massive 232 in their stipulated overs.
Al Wahabi, in reply could not paced their innnings and were short of the target by 37 runs.
However, Bhupinder Kumar (60) and Rakesh Pinoly (39) were the
only notable scorers for Al Wahabi, who managed to score just 175 runs for
seven wickets in their allotted overs.
In the other matches of the day, An impressive batting performance by
Shafqat (79) and a four-wicket haul by Gul saw Pak Expats CC score a thrilling
three wicket win over Ibson CC, while Star CC registered a
massive eight-wicket win over ANTA CC.
