ISC Blue clash with Pakhtoon in ACA final

ISC Blue earned a place in the final with a comfortable 110-run win over Khayam C.C. while Pakhtoon C.C. defeated ACA Colts by 63 runs at the Al Ain cricket grounds last week. The final clash will take place at the ACA ground today.

In the first semi-final, ISC's Amanat produced a fine all-round performance as he first slammed 106 runs and then snapped up two wickets for 22 to help trigger a Khayyam batting collapse.

Batting first, ISC Blue scored a huge total of 298 in 29 overs. Tariq (48), Mushtaq (39) and Jyathish (37) were the other useful run-getters. Adnan bowled exceptionally well and returned with impressive figures of 3 for 4 runs while Akbar claimed three wickets for 37 runs.

Khayam C.C., in reply, were restricted to 188 in 25.3 overs. Akbar topscored with 37 and Usmaan added 31. Tariq was ISC's most successful bowler bagging four wickets while Amanat, Govind and Mushtaq claimed two wickets each.

Imran strikes in vain

In the other semi-final Saeed Butt (78) and Tariq Mughul (58) hammered brilliant half-centuries as Pakhtoon C.C. rattled up 242 for eight in 30 overs. Imran bowled Well for ACA Colts, taking four wickets.

ACA Colts were bowled out for 187 in 29.4 overs. Shahid Jr 35, Shahid 28 and Imran Khan 27 were the main scorers.Daod captured three wickets and conceded 16 runs while Hassan 2/38 and Nabib 2/27 were the other successful bowlers.

Banu C.C. take on Deccan C.C.

In Division B, Banu C.C. and Deccan have reached the final after defeating Banghash C.C. and Golden Star respectively. Shaukat's 102 for Deccan C.C. was the highlight of the semi-final. The winners will meet in the final on Friday.
