Sahib Zada demolishes Al Badar
A brilliant century by Sahib Zada was the high point of Evergreen's
victory as they demolished Al Badar C.C. by a huge margin of 9 wickets in
the ongoing Bukhatir League 'B' Division - 25 overs, conducted by the
Sharjah Cricket Council.
Chasing a stiff victory target of 201 for victory, Sahib Zada went on the
rampage as he scored 116 fluent runs off only 79 ball with 11 fours and 4
sixes. He found an able ally in Sohail (58 n.o. off 63 balls with 3 fours
and 3 sixes) who played the sheet anchor role as Evergreen C.C. overhauled
the target for the loss of only wicket in 25.5 overs.
Earlier, Al Badar C.C. did moderately well to score 200 of their allotted
30 overs. Kashif Pasha (75 off only 48 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes) was
the top scorer for his team and it was mainly his effort that allowed Al
Badar to reach the final core. James Leen (31) was the only other batsman
to shine. Saleh (2 for 33) and Sherazi (2 for 15) shared the bowling
honours for their team.

DULSCO scrape past Oman Insurance
In a top of the table clash, powerful DULSCO managed to scrape past mighty
Oman Insurance by a small margin of 2 wickets.
Chasing a difficult victory target of 253, DULSCO were indebted to number
five batsman Saqib who played extremely well for his 68 and was
instrumental in his team's victory. Rashid (34), Ishtiaq (27), Azeem (29)
and Taskin (20) were the other main contributors for their team as DULSCO
ultimately scrambled home for the loss of two wickets with only 3 balls to
spare. M Jafri (3 for 56) was the only bowler to shine.
Earlier, Oman Insurance did well to score 252 in their allotted 30 overs.
Afzal (80), Gulzar (68) and Asif (47) were the principal scorers for their
team. Taskeen (2 for 47) and Shakeel (3 for 31) stole the bowling honours
for their team.
