Nadike Kiran master mind Westminster's win

Nadike Kiran cracked the only century of the day to laid The Westminster School, Dubai to a
thumping 249-run victory over The Oxford School, Dubai.
Electing to bat, Kiran was unstoppable as he smashed 14 boundaries and a six to reach his
personal tally of 110 in just 58 balls. Opening partner Sajib played an equally exciting 39
runs off only 14 balls, including 7 hits to the fence.
Mohammed Umair came in later and consolidated the score with another enterprising knock
worth 74 and Naseem Khan added to the Oxford miseries with a sweet-time 43 from 14
deliveries as Westminster amassed 326 for 4 in 25 overs. Zaheer was the only successful
bowler with 2 wickets, while Khurram picked up 1.
The Oxford reply was never to be a brave one as the batting just folded in the face of
a huge total. Only opener Khurram managed to reach double figures with 32 runs from
36 deliveries. Naseem picked up three wickets, while man of the match Kiran bagged two.

7 for Abdullah as Cosmos triumph
Abdulla of Cosmos produced a devastating spell of 5 overs to bag an amazing 7 wickets to
help his team defeat Our Own English High School, Sharjah by a comfortable margin of 74 runs.
Batting first, Cosmos Institute rattled up 246 for 7 in their allotted overs with Abdulla
smashing 10 boundaries on his way to 63. Mohammed Imran chipped in with 51 runs, while
Mohammed Azhar (24) and Fahad (36) came up with handy contributions in the middle order.
Bowling honours for Our Own were shared by Sunil, Tariq and Nikunj with two wickets apiece.
In reply, Our Own could not keep up with the asking rate as they folded up for 172 in 21.2
overs. Benjamin (43) and Nikunj (48) laid the perfect foundation for the chase, but found
the rest of the batsmen lacking in spirit. Abdulla was their main tormentor with seven wickets
at the cost of just 17 runs in his five overs.
Abdulla was so dominating that he bagged a hat-trick with the Our Own score stuck at 129.

Imran shines for Al Dhafra
Yet another good performer with the ball was Al Dhafra School's (Al Ain), Imran as he took
six wickets to lead his school to a four-wicket win over Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Arab
Pakistan School, Abu Dhabi.
Put in to bat first, the Abu Dhabi school could do nothing against Imran's accuracy as
he bagged six wickets for the cost of 32 runs. Najam gave him good support with three wickets
as Sheikh Khalifa School were bowled out for 197.
Imran then made the chase look easy with a patient 35 runs off 51 balls, while Najam (45) and
Ghalib (44 not out) came in later and took their team past the target with five balls to
spare. Imran Butt took four wickets.
