5 teams in race for a single spot

The ICC Six Nations Challenge UAE 2004 is wide open eagerly looking ahead to the final round on Saturday, with five teams still mathematically in with a chance of securing the one remaining spot in the ICC Champions Trophy England 2004.

Holland is in the box seat after round 4, knowing that a win against UAE will now see them crowned victorious. This is due to the fact they defeated Scotland in the first round.

However if UAE overcome the Dutch side, and Scotland defeat USA, Scotland will be making the short trip south to England in September to face Australia and New Zealand in the Champions Trophy.

If both Scotland lose to USA and Holland lose to UAE, and furthermore Namibia defeat Canada, an amazing situation of five teams on equal on three wins will eventuate.

If this is the case, net run rate will decide the winning team.

All said and done. With the picture of the winner not clear yet after four days of thrilling action, one could only draw a conclusion that Cricket is the only winner.
